PHIX is focused on connectivity that supports our local partners, including facilitating connectivity at the state and national levels.
-
National Connections
PHIX leverages the eHealth Exchange to connect nationally with other regional and state health information exchanges, health systems across the southwest, as well as the Veterans Administration and Department of Defense nationally.

-
Texas Immunization Registry
PHIX supports sending vaccination data to the Texas Immunization Registry (ImmTrac2) to support electronic reporting for our partners. Please contact our team if you are interested.
-
Texas Statewide Emergency Response
During declared disasters, Patient Unified Lookup System for Emergencies (PULSE) is activated to allow verified and onboarded first responders to securely access clinical records from providers connected through local HIEs (including PHIX) and national networks. PHIX is connected to PULSE through our partnership with the eHealth Exchange.
-
Texas Prescription Monitoring Program
PHIX is connected to the Texas Prescription Monitoring Program to enable our physician users to easily access their patients’ history of controlled substance prescriptions. This connection enables physicians to review their patients’ medical history and controlled substance prescriptions securely and electronically.
